Vietnamese Folktale: Toad is the Uncle of Heaven

A Vietnamese folktale about a brave toad who travels to Heaven to ask the King of Heaven for rain during a severe drought.

In the story, the toad and his animal companions must overcome challenges to reach the King.

The King, impressed by the toad's courage, grants the plea for rain and declares the toad his "uncle" in a gesture of respect, giving him the power to call for rain by croaking.
